RESUMEN

In this study we determined the synergistic mechanism of antimicrobial lung proteins against capsulated Klebsiella pneumoniae (serotype K2). Knowledge about the mechanism of endogenous antimicrobial peptides and the improvement of their interaction properties will contribute to increasing their potential as new antimicrobial therapies against multi-resistant pathogens.
